"Safe and sound" Frog Cat Figurine

Nothing happened today. How wonderful.

Disguised as a tiny frog, this lampwork glass cat is a charm for the ordinary days—the ones when nothing goes wrong and everyone you love makes it safely home.

In Japan, frogs have long been symbols of good fortune and safe return. The Japanese word for frog, kaeru, also means “to return,” giving the humble frog a special place among traditional lucky charms: a wish for happiness to return, fortune to return, and travelers to find their way home.

Handmade in glass by artist Shang Daili, each tiny Frog Cat is a reminder that a quiet day, safely lived, is its own kind of good luck.
